Where do I get an API key?

Anthropic: console.anthropic.com/settings/keys
OpenAI: platform.openai.com/api-keys

You'll be billed by Anthropic / OpenAI directly per use; the app shows a cost estimate before each Formula Check so there are no surprises.

My formulas didn't sync to my other iPad

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account and that iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings. Sync usually takes 10 – 30 seconds.

The AI returned a strange substitute

AI suggestions are imperfect. Use the match score (red / amber / green) as a confidence guide and feel free to override — you can always tap “Buy original” to ignore the substitute, or expand a row to see the alternative blend.

Can I export my data?

Yes — the Inventory tab has an Export CSV button that produces a standard CSV with all of your ingredients.
